Title Women and Work at the postwar ABC - KYLIE ANDREWS
DESCRIPTION  My research examines the achievements of women working in Australian public broadcasting in the postwar era, particularly in ABC Talks production. It uses biography to contextualise the political economies of the workplace and historicises the careers of senior female radio and television producers. It incorporates a variety of transmedial and transnational exchanges within the broadcasting community in the 1950s and 1960s.
